We found a number that worked for the insurance company!!! We got our name in the hopper and they expect to be in touch within 72 hours.

keep on them. We had to call many times, and call our agent to get an adjuster--this disaster is so big, it's hard to know how long it will take. If you can take lots of digital photos, burn to a cd-rom, etc. and list your affected possessions.
Batch, we're continuing to pray for your insurance situation. Someone told me today that folks in Washington were lobbying for legislation to change the surge water exemption in most insurance policies, but I haven't been able to substantiate it yet.
It was great working with you last week with recovery and relief efforts. You were quite an encouragement to me, especially your willingness to help folks like the Jamaican village. On our way out of town I dropped diapers and formula by #71 at the Watermark Apts. in Gulfport.
Our church is sending a relief group next week. We plan on sending an initial large group and then follow up with smaller groups every 6-8 weeks or so for however long the Lord leads us. I plan to be part of some of those groups in the coming year, but don't know yet if I'll be back down this fall again or not.
