Sure thing Monta

"A lot of players might do it for the money. Of course the money is there, but I look at it as a chance for a job at the highest level. I'll be doing it because I love the game of basketball."
Monta Ellis, MSU signee on why he is foregoing college to enter the NBA draft. The CL story here.

Count me as a skeptic.

Hey, can Monta withdraw from the draft if he doesn't sign with an agent? He continues to fall in the projections on nbadraft.net. And Batch, are you going to the LSU games? We are going home on May 21, so I am hoping to make the game on Sunday, the 22nd.

Yeah, as long as he doesn't sign w/ an agent I think he has until June 21 to withdraw (a week before the draft).

We won't be at the LSU series... we'll be in Mexico. Sorry we'll miss you.
